Count registered devices, not just active connections.
A device continues to occupy a place when it is registered, even if it is offline. Turning a laptop off does not release its registration. This is different from a limit that counts only simultaneous connections.
Build a device list that fits your routine.
Think about the phone you carry, the computer you work on and any tablet or second laptop you use. Check client compatibility for each operating system before assuming that a browser, router or television is supported.
Replacing a phone or computer.
Device-management and replacement instructions are still being prepared. Do not rely on uninstalling an app or disconnecting to remove a registration. The supported removal process will be documented before launch.

Do offline devices count?
Yes. The allowance counts registered devices, including those currently offline.
Can I use an unlimited number of devices if only one is online?
No. The limit applies to registrations, not only to devices connected at the same time.
Does the 24-month plan include more devices?
No. All subscription lengths have the same allowance of up to 10 registered devices.
