Offline is not unregistered.
A registered phone or laptop still counts when it is disconnected or switched off. For example, six registered devices leave four places in a 10-device allowance even if only one is currently online.
Adding another device.
Before adding a device, check the current registration list and confirm client compatibility. A compatible client with device identification is required. Do not assume that a different app on the same hardware is treated identically until that behaviour is documented.
Removal and replacement are being prepared.
The device-management interface and the exact removal, reset and replacement rules are not yet available. We will publish the supported steps before launch. Disconnecting or uninstalling should not be treated as a confirmed way to free a place.
